Cold Lake Air Weapons Range (CLAWR), 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada.

Air to Air refuelling between a Canadian Forces Airbus (tail number 15004) and a Canadian Fighter-18 (CF-18) Hornet jet (tail Number 754) during exercise Maple Flag 42.

Exercise Maple Flag XLII (MF-42) is one of the largest joint training exercises in the world, run by the air force.

The exercise will take place in Cold Lake, Alberta, from 18 May to 12 June, 2009.

MF 42 will provide Canadian and allied aircrew and soldiers with realistic trining in a modern simulated air and ground combat environment, emphasizing special forces and air operations involving large package coalition forces.
